TerraTeQ Innovation is a Cyprus-based deep-tech company building the next generation of soil intelligence. We design and develop sustainable printed sensors, low-power wireless infrastructure, and the data platforms needed to translate continuous soil measurements into actionable agronomic and environmental decisions.
Our mission is to make the invisible measurable — closing the gap between what soil tells us and what we can act on. By combining advanced materials, intelligent sensing, and real-time analytics, we provide the infrastructure that modern agriculture, environmental research, and public-sector programmes require to operate on ground-truth data rather than estimates.

Dr. Marios Sophocleous
Co-Founder & CEO
Marios leads TerraTeQ’s technical research and sensing development, whilst also driving the company’s strategic direction, networking, and outreach as CEO. A PhD graduate in thick-film underground sensors from the University of Southampton, he brings over a decade of applied research in printed soil sensing, electrochemical systems, and precision agriculture electronics. IEEE Senior Member, published author of 25+ peer-reviewed papers, and the scientific force behind TerraTeQ’s sensing technology and R&D agenda.
